| Refund Policy |
| The following refund policy applies to the terms of this enrolment contract. In case of cancellation, written request must be submitted to UCL by a student. Refund entitlement is calculated on the total fees due under the contract, less the non-refundable registration fee. |
| 1. Refunds before the program of study begins: |
| a. |
If a student visa is denied by Canadian immigration office, the school may retain non-refundable registration fee. |
| b. |
If written request of cancellation is received by the student less than seven (7) calendar days after the contract is made, and before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the school may retain the lesser of 25% of the total fees due under the contract or $400. |
| c. |
Subject to subsection (1) (b), if written request of cancellation is received by the student thirty (30) calendar days or more before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the school may retain 25% of the total fees due under the contract. |
| d. |
Subject to subsection (1) (b), if written request of cancellation is received by the student less than thirty (30) calendar days before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the school may retain 40% of the total fees due under the contract. |
| 2. Refunds after the program of study starts: |
| a. |
If written request of cancellation is received by the student within 10% of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the school may retain 50% of the total fees due under the contract. |
| b. |
If written request of cancellation is received by the student after 10% and before 30% of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the school may retain 70% of the total fees due under the contract. |
| c. |
If written request of cancellation is received by the student after 30% of the period of instruction specified in the contract, no refund is required. |
